Hello! I love to read.

The long short is: I am an avid reader that has been on a journey to read a work of fiction from every country in the world.

The parameters for my Around the World Challenge are simple:

1. Must be fiction.
2. The author must have spent their formative years in the selected country.

Fiction only? Yeah, I love me some good non-fiction. Anything from Endurance by Alfred Lansing (a favorite) to odd historical texts like Vegetarianism and Occultism by C.W. Leadbeater. For this project though, only fiction.

Formative Years having been spent in the target country is the most important aspect. I'm looking for perspectives that I could never have had on my own. I want to know how a woman from Rwanda or a man from Kyrgyzstan writes about the world.

I love history, geography, maps, and different cultures. Combining that with my love for reading has been incredible. I'll be slowly trying to write about all that I have already read, as well as what I am thinking of reading.
